  • Does your child meet our August 31 age requirement for the class you are interested in? Example: A child entering Kindergarten should turn 5 by August 31, a child entering our 3-year-old Nursery program should turn 3 by August 31. The Long Ridge School evaluates each child's school readiness and class placement on an individual basis. Although we take into serious consideration parental input, professional assessment, and the specific needs of the child, the final decision of an offer of admission and specific grade and class placement rest solely with the school administration.
